Yes, I'd also like to point out Interstellar Flames as an example. It didn't take long for the development of that game, it's got great 3D graphics, and runs very quickly on all devices.

I think a Wipeout type game would be great on the PPC. Just make sure the physics aren't extreme, otherwise it would be frustrating controlling it on the tiny screen.

The problem with making a wipeout type game is not the actual programming. The biggest issue is level design. What makes wipeout so cool is 1) the music and 2) the cool design of everything (levels, menus, ships, fonts).

That argentum height map graphics engine would make a good racing game... That stunt racing bike game they have out now reminds me of it. But if you could just add a Z viewpoint level to that it would be really cool. The view spinning around while racing a hover vehcile through grassy valleys. *drool*
Just add a few polygonal elements and you've got a great new game! with "updated graphics!"
