My suggestions are:

good luck....

I've got a half finished game called "frozen" (screenshot on my site), that I was creating (rpg), it never "got there", it takes foreva, graphics, ai, umpteen factors to take into account......

again, I say good luck....

maybe code borrow... (lots) ;-)

Yeah, Settlers was kick-ass :D - I used to play it on an Amiga 500 so the PPCs should be alright with it. I toyed with mailing BlueByte and asking how much they'd want for the rights, etc, but I don't have the time right now (and I suspect that a lot of it will be in Amiga 68000 or whatever, and I can't read that). Hopefully somebody will pick it up and convert it.

I'm working on an RPG that's sort of a cross between Dragon Warrior (and Chrono Trigger, FF, all those old-school RPGs) and Monkey Island, but sci-fi.

That's all I'm saying for now.
*retreats to underground coding lair*

*realizes he doesn't have an underground coding lair*
*shrugs*
*runs*

[edit] Oh, and it's got a bit of old school D&D-ish elements (read: somewhat similar battle system). And I'm not talking about BG's "real-time turn-based" system, but meh, you'll see in due time...[/edit]

SDL and stuff ...
