The Windows CE .NET platform builder was sent out in the MSDN set in July.

There have been a handful of devices running ce.net. I do think they're going to make a PocketPC.net before we see any ROM ugprades.

I would think ce.net would be backwards compatible. As I assume MS are still sticking to ARM chips only. If not then it's just a case of recompiling programs with embedded visual tools 4.

I doubt ROM upgrades to CE.NET will be available any time soon - there's nothing wrong with PPC 2002, and EUU3 has only just been released.
