You can sell your products by Handango. Here an example:

For the signature, I'm not sure if you are forced to sign it before you sell it, and the applications are suppose to be able to run on the phone, even unsigned. But I know on the last Sendo OS, we were force to use the sendo signature. Right now, this market is really complicated and a lot of things are unsure...
I think you will be forced to deal with them :(

For us, all our games were signed by orange themself.

I hope this post help you a little bit, but I don't know much either.

Orange is going to have a website available that explains all of this in early 2003.

More here:

BTW, the MS SmartPhone platform allows the OEM to decide whether or not the device will allow the execution of unsigned applications. Orange apparently decided not to allow unsigned apps to run on their phone. I would expect other wireless operators will choose the same route.

There are also a couple different routes to go, in order to get your game certified.

Pay Orange to test your app in order to gain certification. Every time you submit to Orange, you must pay this fee- and its a couple hundred dollars. So it pays to get it right the first time.

Unfortunately, devs can't even DEVELOP or DEBUG on the retail phones, because of this. All apps must be signed or certified.

Or you can sell your soul to Handango, and they will help get all those fees waived.

OR, hope that Orange contacts you directly, in order to write your own ticket.

you may find it interesting that the signature has been "broken" (read the complete story and I'm sure you'll find it funny ) ; if you want to develop or port for this device, you can do it (at least test your apps) freely now with a retail phone !
