First you need Microsoft's eMbedded Developer Studio (C++ and Visual Basic)<br><br>It costs $8 shipping and handling only. Or you can download the 300 MB file (I suggest $8).<br><br>Then you'll need to learn C++/VB and GAPI. Here's a good book for that ;D :<br><br>, by Andre' Lamothe. It will take you through everything you need to know to start programming games and in general for the PocketPC. You save $15 off the regular retail price from my link, special offer! Better jump on it! ;D<br>

Note that those bastards LaMothe and the guy who actually wrote that book will teach you a lot of good stuff (I glanced through it at a Barnes & Noble one day) but they won't teach you to code for 4-bit greyscale. So if you want a wide audience of iPaq 3100 users as well, I suggest spending some time with the new PocketQuake source code when the next version emerges from Dan's compiler, as it will support 4-bit in some well-written code.

And spend some time looking at the EasyCE Source code. Jacco Phantom Bikker's Nutcracker website is where you'll find that, sorry I don't have the URL.

I second that. Jacco's code is meant as a helpful library, but it's the best tutorial to the little quirks of the different GAPI implementations I've found. Good stuff.<br><br>And come on, Moose! I understand we all want to avoid looking like Diego, but you couldn't just modify that post?
