Hi,

I've decided to start a new thread about the bochs port for pocketpc. I've noticed that this project seems frozen. I really would like to have it on my iPAQ.

Any (good) news?

Thanks

Massimo

Notice that the X86 emulator thread is still on this page. Not also, at the bottom of the page there are the numbers 1 through 8. These are other pages with about 20 threads on them each. equaling somewhere in the realm of 160 threads. Considering that the original thread is still on this first page, I honestly don't believe it is 'frozen' as you say. Especially since the last update was a little over a week ago.

Have patience.

Ya, Dan's working it. Dan's current (known) agenda:
Work on paying job, programming healthcare apps for PPCs.
Work on commercial product that (was supposed to) become available w/ PM2's launch. (kick ass, too.)
Care for family, and other real life responsibilities.
Perform tedious float to int conversion for PocketQuake (damn, what a bore).
Port the slow bochs to the PocketPC, waiting to program in sub pixel resolutions for appropriate VGA modes.

I'm sure Dan would love it if someone would help him with the last two. Especially if anyone knows how to convert to integers, that's some real boring work. But each function at a time really helps the performance.

It will be optimized ones it is determined to be fully functional, just like PocketQuake. Maybe I should continue learning how to program stuff so I can help out with things around here.
