While over at URThere.com I noticed they have created a "developer network." I never noticed this before, so I thought I would mention it to you guys. It can be accessed <br><br>"Join the @migos Developer Network and enjoy benefits such as discounted units for R & D and testing, a developer and manufacturer search to get you in touch with programmers and OEM's that could make your idea a reality, discussion boards, etc."

I went ahead and registered. Maybe then I can get a color unit to test my greyscale port cross-compatibility on.

Actually, I haven't heard anything back from 'em yet. Who knows? Maybe I should check the site...<br><short pause><br>Nope, there's nothing new at the site. I was kinda hoping that it would be like the Palm Dev thing, where I was able to get hardware on the cheap. Guess not. I'll just wait and see. They may be waiting for the program to reach critical mass, or they might be waiting for the debut of PPC 2002.

Okay, just got a note from the URThere people. They're offering developers a free game, the PPC2002 @migo for $430, and space on their next distribution CD for peoples' software if they want it there. Looks like a pretty good deal to me. Maybe if I can scrounge up another $450 I'll go for it.

If only their PPC had more than 16MB of flash ROM! I'd buy it right now...Oh well, gotta wait till the new PPCs become available for retail sale in November.

even if it had 32mb rom, I don't think microsoft would release a special version for the @migo that had all the programs.

Why would it have to be special? If I recall correctly, @migo runs on StrongARM like the rest of the PPC 2002 devices....

it would have to be special, because if it were to have 32mb, it would include all of the programs that PocketPC 2002 includes. Rather than the 16mb version. But this is all a pointless conversation, because the @migo only has 16mb like the ipaq:)
