What we are trying to organise is a porting team consisting of the people who frequent pocketmatrix.com. The goal would be to port existing games (and maybe apps) to the Pocket PC platform. If you think you've got what it takes to join (and that would be either strong experience with c++, graphics, or sound) post a reply to this thread, describing how you could benefit the team.<br><br>BTW, for now, though only tentatively, the first porting project is set to Ultima 7 (because it's so damn amazing).

Might as well tell what I will contribute.<br><br>- c++ coding and/or vb coding (either PPC or PC platforms)<br><br>-some ASM routines (though I am currently studying MIPS, I will familiarise myself with StrongARM when I have time)<br><br>-3d graphics (anything from sprites to objects to backgrounds, etc.)<br><br>-sound (both real instrument recording - I play several string instruments - and synthesized tracks, loops, etc.)

Not many jumpers. I'm a "Sunday coder" as someone once put it. I know some C/C++ and am only familiar with 2D and 3D graphics programs but am not a professional.

Guys, I'd love to help, but at this moment if I try and take on another single thing, I might forget to breath and collapse on my laptop.

<br><br>Seriously, I'd like to contribute, so we'll see what's needed down the road, and how much time I can devote.<br><br>Dan East

Dan, I'm in the same boat. Not only do I have my education (I'm undergrad in second year of university) to worry about, I'm also up to my ears in another project (*ahem* adventure game *ahem*), but I though I'd let the people know how I can help so that when time comes...

I'm a freelance graphic designer, and I teach web, print/pre-press, and graphic design at a local education center. If I can be of any help, I would be glad to.<br><br>I can send the organizers my resume for further review of my capabilities.
