Does EMVC3 support STL... seems like not

Postby akhromov » Mar 19, 2002 @ 5:20pm

I've been happily developing using VC++ 6. I go to compile the program using EMVC3 and lo and behold... it seems it has no support for STL.

I've looked around, and I'm pretty sure I'm right, but can I get a confirm shout out please.

Thanks,

Andre

eVC does not support the STL. However, there is an STL port that works with eVC somewhere on the internet. You might want to try looking on google for "STL PocketPC" and see if that comes up with any results.

Just because it is, IMHO, the best search engine available. It's only a personal preference.

WOO HOO BILLCOW!!!

Postby akhromov » Mar 19, 2002 @ 9:09pm

Thanks BillCow. Google (be it Swedish or whatever that whole sidetrack seems to be...) WORKED!

I got the url in one go. I am going to include it here, for everyone else:

http://www.pocketpcdn.com/libraries/#stl

I got it to compile fine... EXCEPT:

suddenly I get (this is NOT stl related):

EasyCE.obj : error LNK2019: unresolved external symbol SHFullScreen referenced in function "void __cdecl taskbar(bool)" (?taskbar@@YAX_N@Z)

... I must be missing a lib somewhere. Could I get a clue as to what I need to point the linker to?

Thanks in advance,

Andre

P.S. I know SHFullScreen() is a CE function. I just checked MSDN and can't seem to get a search result. It's used in the taskbar() function in EasyCE.
