Have you tried STLPort()?
STLPort supports many platforms including Windows CE. I have used it for almost 3 years and I think it is great.

RE: "lacking" stdlib

Postby billcow » May 26, 2002 @ 10:46pm

This is slightly off-topic, but it was mentioned, so here I go:

At , there is a library (celib) that is very helpful in coping with not only eVC's crappy stdlib, but also has wrapper functions for the WinCE API that use ASCII instead of UNICODE (helpful for porting, but a bad thing for other uses, IMHO (unless you really need to save space when storing strings)). It also implements a bunch of win32 api functions that were removed from WinCE (including ones that aren't available in all versions). Same for the stdlib functions that aren't there. The library also implements printf, etc. but they currently write to a file rather than printing to the display (there are hooks if you want to write a function to display them, though. you can also read them using pipes).
Most people don't know that "A highly technical term" is actually a highly technical term used to describe something that doesn't mean anything
