What is this...how do i get the game to run???

Make sure you put the PAK file in the correct location:

\quake\ID1 or \Storage Card\quake\ID1
and NOT
\My Documents\quake\ID1

When you "Explore" the PocketPC through ActiveSync it will open the My Documents folder and no the to root folder. You need to open "My PocketPC" after pressing "Explore" and create the quake directory there.

HELP! Error message!

HELP, PLEASE!
I keep getting the error W_LoadWadFile:couldn't load gfx.wad. When i try to create the new file, \quake\ID1 it does noes not let me put in \ or :.
Please help me, i want to play quake on my pocket pc!

I'm purchasing a Dell Axim X5 with the Microsoft Pocket PC 2002 edit. and i don't wanna screw it up installing quake..(they warned me...) anywayz... help me by sending instructions to:

and about that ARM proccessor...wtf is that? mine has an intel...well... tell me all you can...later

Yes, of course it will work :roll:

Microsoft WindowsXP also says the same thing, that installing it could possibly render your desktop useless. It's just so the people that made it don't get into trouble in case something goes hay-wire and you try to blame it on them.

That was added to cover their asses. You can't take any chances nowadays.

Read the specifics on the dell, it uses a XScale processor. 5 minutes of research on this would show that compatibility holds true.
