Memory on my ipaq

Memory on my ipaq

Postby Chris Tateo » Feb 16, 2001 @ 2:05pm

How do I override the automatically managed memory allocations for programs on an ipaq? There is the slider that "temporarily changes the setting" but if you watch the screen for 3 seconds it will autmatically change back.

Because of this my ipaq says "not enough disk space" when trying to run pocket quake, and is driving me nuts to boot.

Perform a Soft Reset, then try moving the slider.

You will have to leave at least 10% of it for storage, otherwise it will snap back again as you say.

7.5-8 megs free should be plenty :)
