I registered but for some reason its still logging me as a guest even when I log in. any clue why?

what i do is leave my home computer logged in all the time. So then i don't have to type the password and all that stuff. So if i'm at school i just get on as a guest. Maybe i'm not logged in at home actually, i think its just a cookie.
