PocketQuake Networkable?

PocketQuake Networkable?

Postby Jordan Maynard » Apr 30, 2001 @ 7:59pm

I am considering buying the new iPaq - if I do, I will also be getting an 802.11b (wireless networking pcmcia card) for it, as I have an 802.11b LAN in my house. This will allow me to browse the web from the iPaq at 11Mbps from anywhere in the house. The question that I have is does the PocketQuake port support the TCP/IP functions of quake - ie could I play quake against my desktop computer from the iPaq or not? (I guess there is an implied question there of 'is pocketquake compitable with traditional quake?' too) ...  I checked the FAQ, but it seemed to be broken..
