How do you make the Pak0 smaller (min)

I know this topic has been up before but it didnt quite tell me what i needed to know!<br>i downloaded the small pako.pak from another site (think it was pauls)and it didnt work so i now have the 8meg 1 which takes all my room up :-(. I have the pak explorer and wanted to know what are the very basic files or folders you need, which of the following folders do i need to run it (don't want demo's or music)<br>thanx a bunch!

You can delete all the ambience sound files, but you're not going to save much room.<br><br>Your best bet is to simply to add the levels you intend to play. Each Level like e1m1.bsp is roughy a megabyte each.<br><br>

Can i just delete the sounds folder then?<br>do i need to do anything else?<br>

i ripped all the eXmX stuff from my pak. also i took out start.bsp and end.bsp they are all levels that unles you play single play you'll never need. I also took out the dm1-dm6 levels because they aren't playable anyways whats the point in keeping them :)
