We already have it, and that'll give a much better framerate than HL. I'm seein no point in this port.

James, the team that's making Quake for Half-Life (which is called Quake TC [total conversion]) has been working on it since late 1999. I'm pretty sure the project died, because it doesn't take 2 years to make a mod (I've been intensely following Half-Life mod stuff since HL came out). I would be neat if they do finish, within the next few years.

nope, it´s not dead. I saw news about it today on a Brazilian games site.

Why?<br><br>Hey fellas, I got an idea, why not just play the real Quake? Q plus it's many mods installed take up less HD space than HL single player does.<br><br>Also, does anyone else see the insane level of "what the fack?" with this ports whole purpose? Don't both game's spawn from the same grassroots? I just don't understand why anyone would care to play Quake that way, so now you can sit and wait until all the physics are tweaked to be "just like the real thing" etc etc etc? <br><br>pffft Exclamation Point Period<br>insert signature/
