Oh yea, for MIPsers out there like Moose who want to tweak their PQ, all you need is that top bit "Old Skool tweaks" and you should be set. Also make sure to modify your max_particles setting, 100 should be fine.

999, how'd chu do dat? PocketQuake now runs at 7.4FPS after using a couple of the key variables from your .cfg file. As opposed to my 6.6FPS. I wonder if I can get it up to 8FPS on my Casio. hrmm......

The PocketQuake-specific r_maxparticles var is probably responsible for the majority of the increase.

Dan East

I had my maxparticles set to 20, not 100 like in 999's. The only visual things that were changed were mipscale, which was upped to 0, opposed to my 1, and viewsize at 100 instead of 110. I'm thinking viewsize has the majority of the increase in it.

Matt, One question. Are you using the o/ced software that was made for the IPaq? Or is it a hardware o/cing?

Wow, that's what I thought. I guess I'll just wait a couple more months first before the beta becomes the actual alpha.

The @migo is no longer in beta, It is a final product now. To my knowledge they have shipped and filled their backorder.
