Quake on j720, screen resolution

Quake on j720, screen resolution

Postby j720 » Jul 11, 2001 @ 4:29am

Quake 720 works fine on my j720, but why it doesn't use the whole screen but just a half of it? It isn't able to use whole 640x240 display or am I missing something?

As of now, Quake is not the fastest in teh 320 x 240 resolution.  So, you have to ask yourself, do I want to see a 642 x 240 resolution just for the sake of seeing it and still have a slow versio of Quake, or would I rather see Rob spend all of programming time on increasing the speed and making the rest of the game more enjoyable.  Be patient young grasshopper and someday you too will play Quake using the whole screen.  So, if you want more of the screen used, submit a background immage 640 x 240 to RProie@www.com and maybe it will show up on a future version of Quake.
