suggestions for next pocketquake

suggestions for next pocketquake

i just started using pocketquake a few days ago and i'm very impressed with it so far, but on to the point. i've got a few suggestions for future versions.

1 - im sure you're all ready working on this one. there are several times when you can see through walls, etc. display errors.

2 - landscape mode should have some sort of condensed version of the buttons that portrait has. a bar across the bottom with essentially the same things would work great. that set of buttons is essential to playing on an ipaq.

3 - double tapping on the box that free looks should center view.

4 - the record button doesn't appear to be mapable. while i'm not sure how useful this would be if you were using the stylus for most of the play, goddamnit i want to map it=>

5 - some things are weird. like, after i change video mode, it says press esc to go back to the main menu and uh.. there's no esc unless its hooked into my stowaway so thats a pain for people without external keyboards. key control defaults should be set to obvious keys on the ppc.

thats it for now. you guys have absolutely amazed me with this port. keep up the good work
Sounds like you have an old version of PocketQuake to me. Are you sure you have version .062?

2 - The corners of the screen are mapable buttons, you just can't see them, so that Quake is full screen. That's the point of landscape: full screen!

4 - The record button is mapable. It should be "AUX2", atleast on the Casio.

5 - Bind record to "togglemenu" and then you've got your escape button.

Just so you know: on an iPAQ, the record button is AUX5.
