Chuck,

No it wouldn't mean that they distributed it. If anyone was able to obtain it through the Titanium Studios website, then I would agree with you. But you obtained it, along with everyone else who isn't a licensed Sega Dreamcast developer, through unsanctioned means. From what I gather of the GPL, Titanium has no responsibility to provide source code to people whom they did not directly distribute the binary. Just because you possess the binary doesn't entitle you to the source. It's all about distribution.

mine isn't by titanium studios. A friend of a friend found it by some random taiwanese developers, and i havn't been able to track them down in the first 2000 searches from hotbot. If anyone can get the one by titanium studios, please email me so i can get it.
As for online gaming, if someone clever could decompile quake 2 or 3 for dc and lift out the online gaming part of it, then they could implant it into the quake for dc engine.
how anyone could do this is way above me. Someone clever could write it from scratch.
no i can't program. When i get the time to download the ppc sdk from microsoft i might learn to port.
