PocketQuake Fatal Error

PocketQuake Fatal Error

Postby slippygod » Sep 4, 2001 @ 2:27pm

I have an iPaq 3135, running Quake of a 64 meg memory card, and whenever I start it the game opens up with the screen and gives the intro message, then gives an illegal operation exception 0x800000002, address 00064aa Fatal.

Godd@mn it! I write the frickin' greyscale version and you can't even remember my name? What a fucked up world...

Check out my homepage for the greyscale version: it's at . There's also a grey version of GNUBoyCE there, and a tutorial on converting color programs to mono. After this site moves to PM2, the greyscale version will be available here on the official site (it'll still be on my site, but this will be its official distribution point).

Note that you will have to manually adjust your memory settings on the 3100 series (unless you keep the machine pretty barren like I do) to get it to run in the small 16meg space available, and you will also need the minimum 6.5Mb of program space free.
