Sometimes I wonder if i should of bought an ipaq. disregard that last message aboput compaq sucks. The problem is, if I goto to Ipaq and windows ce, then some of my palm only programs and my palm keyboard will be useless. A waste of money. It's a no-win situation. What's a guy to do?

The dragonslayer strikes for the final time.

I can type pretty quickly using the onscreen keyboard. Plus the PocketPCs can recognize (!) handwriting, and NOT that graffiti mess.

There are many Palm emulators available for the PPC that allow you to run palm programs. Go to the Emulators section of www.PocketGamer.org to find them. Although a few cost money. :(

Danny, I can tell you this. I used to have a Palm V with keyboard (GoType) and all. But I began to feel that it was a little limited for what I wanted. Yeah, it fitted in my pocket and I usually forgot that it ever needed to recharge (must be some kind of nuclear battery).
With some worries, I bought an iPAQ 3670. I was worried that I spended a load of cash (here in Brazil they are really expensive) and I wouldn't see that big of a differnce.
Woa! What a grateful surprise I had. Now I think I wasted money on the Palm V, because it's sooooo limited. Every thing I did with the Palm I can do 10 times better with the iPAQ (and in color with music). Ok, the short battery life is a real pain (the 3650 is a little bit better), but with all the other things it's capable I just forget about it.
You'll understand why a Palm is nothing more then a overgrone (sp?) digital agenda (remember those from Casio?). And if you have some Palm programs that you just can't live without or that there's no similar for the PPC (wich I doubt), just use an emulator.
