jesus, i just said its on my site. go here: http://www.btinternet.com/~pocketquake/mods.htm and get one of the lowmem paks from the bottom. if you want to use one of these, you need the POP.LMP file which is found in the registered version's pak1.pak file.

man, i'm getting tired of saying this.

Where do I put the POP.LMP? inside the modified paq or inside the gzipped file? if I have to put it in the paq, how do I insert it in there? Thanx for all your patience!! =)

I figured it out. if you make a folder called gfx in the ID1 dir and plop the pop.lmp in there its 'registered'. but now when I go to new game and start a new game it crashes. are you not suppsed to use the single player maps anymore? is this paq just to use the multiplayer maps? thanks

That smaller pak file doesn't contain any of the SP maps, as far as I know. It was created for Custom Multiplayer maps.
