you guys can find a .pak editor at:

and how much ram does q2 need cuz i could not start it with the full demo pak and 16 ram. i'll try ripping the sound files and just hope it does not ask for them!

I can get by with 13-14 MB with no sound files. It will not complain about the missing sound files.
