can anybody help me , on trying to start quake , i keep getting the following message :you must have the registerd version to use modified games
please help me
Make sure you are using the pak file from the same website where you downloaded quake. If you are using a pak0.pak file from the full version of Quake it will not work unless you also include the pak1.pak file.
