when I start up PQ, the upper half of the screen is white, and none of the buttons work, I even downloaded the one for the H38xx series

Well it should be working, try downloading it again, it could have corrupted while you were downloading it.

Try downloading one of the other versions instead othe H38xx version.

Well, I don't know what to tell you. It works for most everyone. Have you soft reset your device? What about a hard reset (backup your data first)?

Free up as much program memory as possible and make sure nothing is running in the background.
