please why is everyone avoiding sh3? please dont forget us. i know "ID" does'nt want decreased graphics! i'd like to give them the big bird!!<br><br>quake is my fav. im like drooling here please HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Listen, i don't know why the version i built didn't work, it was supposed to work, as you can see in it, the screen is drawn correctly but there are no walls... Perhaps that was a bug i introduced when i was trying to make it run faster on mips devices but i don't know, i can't explain why it isn't working.<br><br>I'll tell you what, why don't you add me to your contact list and be my Sh3 betatester, mi icq uin is xxxxxx, i'll send you a new version to see if it works this time.<br>Last modification: CARPEDIEM - 03/11/01 at 06:31:32

If it were that easy to build cross platform I would have released MIPS and SH3 builds myself. Debugging on the actual device is required for a project of this size that uses direct screen access. The 0.04 source generates an out of memory exception, so there is a deeper problem here than GAPI.<br><br>Dan East

Carpediem. I seem to remember in .0041a that parts of the world were not drawn, showing grey areas where only 1/4 of a polygon were shown, or similar. Maybe it has to do with that modification that you made. Just a thought.

Yes, if i removed a vital function i got the same problems that the sh3 users are having. Now i left that function be, that's why there's no graphic glitch now. I thought that perhaps now it would work but it doesn't<br>

PocketQuake will not run a device that is less than WinCE3.0, aka PocketPC, in it's current state. If someone wants to download the source then they could change it to the GameX routines so it would work on a device that is less than a PocketPC. Performance would be decreased because of the age of these devices.<br>Has anyone tried compiling the latest source for SH3/4? I haven't been keeping up on this area of development.

I am looking for anything I can to play on my sh-3.  I bought the Jornada 548 a while back.  Can you say . . . big mistake?  I can, I did.  I would LOVE to be an sh-3 beta tester.  Please!  E-mail me.
