Best Pocket PC?

I'll give you that it's faster and has a rounded edge so it looks futuristic (wooped di do), but there is no way you can make a judgement like "it's the best" no matter what PPC you're talking about.
Many other factors make the iPaq not such a good choice. It's size with one of the expansion sleeves one is atleast 40% deeper than a Casio with expansion built in. The Casio's screen is nicer too, bigger in size and more colorful, vibrant, and bright. The iPaq is a great device, very fast, and could be the ultimate gaming machine, atleast if it didn't come with headaches like dust behind the screen and only being able to press 1 button at a time. I played with all 3 PPCs at BestBuy before deciding, I liked the Casio's screen and it seemed just as fast. With overclocking it is many times faster in certain areas. Everyone has an opinion, I respect that. Mine is to go with a Casio. Actually, mine is to play around with a few at the store first.

Haha, I know quite a bit of BASIC and QBASIC and VB myself. Lesse, at 5 or 7 I had one of those old IBMs. Two 5 1/4" floppy drives. Hard drive? No way. Boot it up with a DOS diskette. Didn't have many programs for it. You had to program it yourself with BASICA. Ah, now those were the days.

I was leaning towards the Casio myself. I don't feel like dealing with the iPAQ.

I'm gonna be watching Jay. The next Carmack?

My first computer didn't have a hard drive either. Dual 5 1/4" floppies were the only way to go.

My first hard drive was a whopping 20 megs. I laugh now because you can't even buy a new computer nowadays with less than 32 megs of RAM; 64 megs of RAM is standard.

It's cool that people so young actually have a REAL background in computers, rather than relying on the crap they teach in school (iMac?)

I need CF all the time, and my friend, who's name happens to be Randall swears by iMacs. Geez, I can't take him. He's pretty skilled though, so I give him credit.
