All you need is the source code, run a DEBUG SH3 compile with the device in the cradle, and press F5 (I think). It will then go through the code and show you exactly when and where a problem begins.

Lol, ok, you guys aren't going to believe this.  I've tried what's his name's SH3 releases 4 and 5 right?  I got a fatal error when trying to load the demo.  Then I compiled my own release ver. from your source code.  Same problem.  However, I tried to debug it for you guys.  I compiled the debug version, copied it on to the Pocket PC.  When I started the bug it was going REALLY slow and I thought it wasn't working.  To my surprise, it works perfectly!  It runs pretty fast too!  I can't debug it for you guys because there is nothing to debug.  I'm going to try running the debug ver. out of the cradle and see if that works.

There we go!  I'm testing it without the cradle as we speak.

Okay, first off, please don't distribute a debug build. It will run at least half as fast as a release build. I assume then that there is an incorrect build option in the release config compiler settings. Let me dredge through the settings and see what I can find.<br><br>Dan East

I didn't see anything obvious.<br>Give the following a try:<br><br>Go to Project->Settings<br>Change Settings For to Win32 (WCE SH3) Release<br>Make sure the root branch (PocketQuake) is selected in the file tree.<br>Click on the C++ tab.<br>Select the category Optimizations<br>Change the Optimizations: drop list to Maximize Speed.<br>Hit OK<br><br>Build using the SH3 Release config and see if that one works.<br><br>Thanks.<br><br>Dan East<br><br>Last modification: Dan East - 03/28/01 at 17:18:33
