Stupid question, you're not using a memory card are you? I meant a bare 545 with no extras...

Pocket Doom is amazing though... so am I right in thinking that the SH3 version now runs at 5fps and is faster than the others, thanks to the new changes?

Faster than "the others?" Do you mean Casio or iPaq? Because if you do you're way off. iPaq runs at 10FPS, Casio at 7.5. So that's 100% and 50% faster than Jornada.

I stopped reading the Casio and Ipaq posts when they were still running at 2fps or something

Actually I've put the .exe itself into the games folder of the start menu and the uncompressed paq file on a cf card (64MB). But as I've said, it is not playable. Doom works well and I haven't tried hexen.

I've downloaded the microsoft visual basic tools last night and will start working on getting the Atari 2600 emu to work on SH3. I found a Dos emu and 400 games and man does this bring back memories! My kids (6 & 3) both have PII 600's and play some pretty cool stuff are watching wide-eyed as I play combat, kaboom and such. The look on their faces as I explain that in my day, this was high-tech.

The problem is i don't like the way the ipaq looks but i love the way the casio looks, its just slower than the ipaq. I'll get a cf card anyway.

Whats happening with the amigo?

James, i made the proper changes in the drawing routines for the atari 2600 to compile in all devices, but since i don't have a jornada i can't configure the keys.
It should take you no time to do change the current source code to work on your sh3. It was very easy to make it work for Ipaq'z, it worked at the first attempt and i don't have one. But if you encounter problems just conctact me and i can send you builds so you can test the keys configuration.
