pocketquake e-100 not working

In that first example you cancelled out the 0's on the left side of the equation. You can't do that, 0/0 does NOT equal one, which is what you showed with:
5/0*0=x*0
5=x*0
5/5 = 1
33/33 = 1
1560/1560 =1

So why wouldn't

0/0 = 1

?
5/5 = 1
0/n = 0
thus
0/0 = 0

That's the most rudimentary concept of elementary algebra.

that is basic, except for the fact that you can't divide by zero.

I still think Digby explained it the best, with the most simplistic math and concept. I thought that even the "powerbrain" of Moose could understand, but I was obviously mistaken.

I guess it depend on perspective x/0 could be infinite because you're deviding by nothing however by that same token it could be null because...well just dont think pies. Anyways my re-iterative $.02.

randall, it doesn't matter that you can't divide by 0, 0 over anything is still zero, because you have nothing of whatever amount is on the bottom, you can easily have nothing from nothing...

except, if you have nothing from nothing, you have a whole nothingness- NO! It's still 0, because 0 above anything is zero.
But it's too early. I'm going back to sleep.

Well, the truth is, it all depends on what logic you want to look at it with. x/0 could be a number of things, that is all I wanted to show you. But for the purpose of this board, I vote to keet it as 0/0 (infinite).

You're confusing the point. You need to shift your focus off of the zero. You see, x/0=y , therefore anything divided by zero is y.

Btw, a GAPI for the E-100/105 already exists. Try that.

Really? By who? In Larry's, it doesn't refrence it, but I could be wrong. Does anyone want me to post my source somewhere? It would be a great start for anyone working on an HPCPro port.
