Well, I'm actually able to play it on the J720.  I can run and jump and shoot...  I just can't see anything.  Grrr.  The buttons on the hud display work (ie, I can press Menu and start a game or quit) so everything but 3D video is working.<br><br>One thing of note: The GAPI demo is supposed to display a nag screen on startup, but in Quake that is not happening.  It happens in the demo prog I compiled, and I'm not doing anything different that I can see.  Hmmm.  So either we've found a way around the nag screen, or GAPI isn't running...

This is pure speculation, but i think that the nag screen is being popped up "underneath" quake and the reason that you cant see anything is because you have to hit "ok" for gapi to work. But like I said, pure speculation.

I only undrestand a 50% of the contents of the forum. Is really solved the problem of Gapi librari?Is it actually necesari to runs Quake? <br>

Maybe i'm some kind of stupid ignorant moron, but I cant help but feel that the Licence to GAPI H/PC is a bit stupid.<br>Wouldn't it make more sense to have it so that for non-commercail applications, there shold be no charge. Maybe a splash screen when it is initalised to give the author credit.<br>For non-commercail software, not many people will purchace a licence as it is a loss to the developer.<br>For commercial or Shareware applictions, the developer should have to purchace a full licence, as they will be making money from the software anyway.

Sorry for the delay guys.  My wife just had a baby this weekend and we have been a bit busy :)<br><br>I will help out if I can with the GAPI HPC part.  One thing to note that I may have forgotten to mention in the documentation is that each thread in your app must call GXBeginDraw() to get display access.  This was not a limitation of the original GAPI, but in the way my code immitates it.  This may be why your 3D stuff is not being displayed.<br><br>Let me know if I can assist in other ways.<br><br>Larry B.
