Rob, you can transfer everything from a Palm to an iPAQ, but not the other way around. With Peacekeeper, you can send some smoke signals (alright, your buisness card) that a Palm can read. But that's it.

Yeah, but what you can do is use the outlook synchronization software Pocket Mirror to get the Palm to look at Outlook and then sync the PocketPC with it. That's how I transferred my stuff over.

That's a bad thing.  If you can't send and receive contacts and such, then I'll never be able to convince him to pay the extra money for a cool gaming device.  Lets hope the new breed have this "problem" worked out.

Actually, the previews of PPC 2002 have all stated that it will include support for the OBEX transmission standard used by palm, so beaming contacts and databases around would be entirely possible. So maybe it won't be a problem too much longer.

Why don't more gamers use the @migo PD-600?  It seems to have about the same specs as the IPAQ.  Does it have the samae button problem, and does gapi work for it?

The great thing of PocketPC 2002 (on this territory, anyway) is the ability to beam contacts and databases to Palm devices. You won't need nothing like Paecemaker.
