Hi, this is getting of topic, soooo...<br><br>Chuck and Randall, I´m sending a beta of my new map to you (MaxSUB). It´s not complete yet but I wanted you guys to test it and tell me what you think. There are some things to be done (optimization, details) but it wont change very much.<br>Oh, yeah if there´s anyone that wants the file too just let me know.<br><br>BTW, I will post a updated version of PQomplex soon too. <br><br><br>Thanks,<br>Diego Cueva

It seems a nice map, could you format it in Quake II '.md2' format?<br><br>And just how do u use custom maps in Q2 multiplayer, i have NO idea

MadCat, yes I could try to format it to Q2 but I have no idea how it would perform since I dont have Q2. Anyway, I will be finishing the map very soon and then I will make it Q2 compliant if you want.

Diego, I just tested your map and PocketQuake and it runs very fast. I didn't test it with bots yet.<br><br>The lighting is perfect- Lots of shadows and bright areas. The selected texture is very good as well. It is kind of a duotone, so it doesn't get incredibly repetitive. The sharp angles are real nice as well- it gives it more of an enclosed sub look.<br><br>I found the computers, one even has an animated screen. You should put a big red dot on the world map to pinpoint Brazil :)<br><br>I couldn't figure out how to get outside. Did you nix that part of the map?

Randall, thanks, I worked really hard on this map. I´m glad you liked the lights andtextures. (BTW, the one animated is not mine, but if you could tell me how to do an animated texture I would make one to my map). :) <br><br>To get outside you need to press the wall button to make the elevator work -get to the upper floor. looks good, especially outside. BUUUT, u need more textures like outside the sub should be a matte black, u know :) and umm the button looking like a health :/!! But other than that really good. Also the top of the sub goes like this<br><br>[pre]<br>  ___<br> |<br>/<br>[/pre]<br>making it hard to get up, u have to jump :/ i guess if thats what you want, but if it was me, i'd say f it and spend aa few more wpoly to make the suub curve more :)

You know, that´s agood idea, it would look cool if it was black outside, but I think it would be hard to see the sub curves (dark sub, dark water and dark sky):/. About the sides of the sub, yes, the original idea was to have this "blocky" design, but I think I can make it easier to get from the water to the sub by changing the polygon angle, uhm, yeah.. ya, well u should also switch to like a metallic lookin crap texture inside on the walls to look like supports :) Just a suggestion.
