I'm pretty sure it's
In my humble opinion
because that's the saying. I always use IMO anyway, though.

What, no one has mention the best game ever. I want Civilization for PPC. The original took about 2M of harddisksapce and I ran it on a 386.

El Ztepho

I think Alpha Centauri is better, but the fact that I've never played Civ. is probably swaying my vote.

Hy all! as far as i remember the SCUMM, first seen in maniac mansion (SCripting Utility for Maniac Mansion), is the common and well known user-interface, with the buttons like "push", "pull", "open", ...
If thats true a whole bunch of games could be emulated when u got a PPC port! And now I have to whine too: Pleeeeze port the best adventure ever "Day of the Tentacle" (DotT)
i also would pay up to 30$ to see that game running on my cassiopeia!
c ya

actually, many of these games, including Wolf3d, SCUMM games, Sierra games, etc.. would all run pretty well. With a good 286/386 Emulator, which is entirely possible, and on is already written in C++ and the source code is available, check out www.bochs.com for more info the source files are here ftp://ftp.bochs.com/

So this basically just has to be ported to the PPC... I heard that the author of the Atari 2600 was going to do a 386 emu... I think if anyone wants to make one this would be a good place to start

In fact, with this emulator, you could actually run Windows 95 on it.... interesting.

Not on a 386 emulator and not with 32MB of RAM, only. Sounds like a good place to start though. 486 or pentium emulator would be 12 times more useful.

Yeah, but...

Postby JcDenton999 » Mar 31, 2001 @ 10:07am

486 emulator would definetely be best! so we dont need to talk bout porting this and that game anymore (i mean we guys like me wouldnt have too whine nomore ;) But the thing is, arent the developers of PocketDOS pro-developers? i mean they gain money for a good app and look at what they've done! that dont even emulate a 386! you can run text-apps! wow, but when theres something with graphics it dont work! ok but enough negative words said now!
