True dan already had a lot of the code in place from PQ-I(not to detract from the accomplishment), but do you know who coded Quake II in the first place?

Carmack.(and wolf3d, and doom, and quake, and q3a, and doom]|[)

No offence to dan though. He is quite the ubermuffin himself.

Romero went from abusing his position at id, to telling everyone that we're his bitch in numerous advertisements for a game delayed for 5 years, to getting some of the worst reviews for said game, then to move into the PocketPC scene because he thought he could be a big shot in a small market... except Dan is the Carmack of PocketPC and Romero is still just Romero.
