PL34SE PROT HALF-LIFE AND C0unTER-STR1k3, w00t!!!

Not possible in the least. Here are reasons that will remove your "leetness" from ignorance.

Pocket Quake 2 runs at 2 FPS on a 206MHz StrongARM, XScale is about 40% slower than that. However, PQ2 doesn't run on PocketPC2002 devices because the operating system restricts the amount of RAM that a single program can allocate to under 22MB's, thus not allowing the game enough memory to run.

The data files for Half-Life are well over 230MBs. With the latest update that number jumps to 500MBs, if not more. On top of that, Counter-Strike is far over 200MB's on it's own. You'd need a 1 gigabyte memory card just to install the game on, only to not have enough memory to allocate to the program, and even if it could it would run at under 1FPS, since Half-Life uses so many particle and lighting effects and very complex models, all of which require a very fast floating-point coprocessor, something which PocketPCs lack.

An even greater problem is that the source code for Half-Life and Counter-Strike is not available. If you want to shell out $500,000 to valve for the source code to HL and Counter-Strike, the most popular games for the computer in a long time and which they're still selling actively and making a large amount of money from, then be our guest. Seeing as how it won't POSSIBLY work IN THE LEAST, then it's your waste. And if you care to argue any of my points then that's your waste as well.

You should have bought a laptop.

I don't know what it means either, It's those rancorous teenager's shout of exaltation, as far as I can figure it. I simply write it off as another one of those nonsensical h4x0r 1337n322 sp43k.

[edit] Here you go, I found it in an online dictionary (dictionary.com)

It started out as a typo (r and w ARE pretty close together) if I'm not mistaken. It's used when you successfully root someone's system.

I play EQ, and, yes, we do say W00t, but I think it has deeper origins in earlier games (Half-Life, and earlier). But most of all, I think it has the most to do with r00t code. Maybe some guy was talking about it and his hacker friends started making fun of him because he had a lisp. Then they just started saying it, I guess.

And I say r00t, because in my old Qbasic books, that was the word in there.

assuming source code availability most things could be ported from the approximate era of Hexen's release. Most definitely anything pre-Quake graphics generation, even Dark Forces: Jedi Knight's would be a good candidate.

Two cupcakes were in an oven. One turned to the other and said "Damn, it sure is hot in here" and the other one said "HOLY SHIT! A TALKING CUPCAKE!"

While I do agree with your argument of the licensing. The actual storage description you make is WAY off. There is a stand alone counter strike game you know, without all those extra HL specific updates. You could also lower the resolution on the textures and make a much smaller footprint(who needs crazy high res textures for a 320x240 screen?).

Personally, I don't really like counterstrike. Its way too noob friendly. EVERYONE who plays thinks they are gods. How can everyone be a god??? Another thing everyone seems to do is compare it to Quake 2. Quake 2 was a MUCH better engine for pushing polys. Half life was released around that time, but was built off a modded Quake1 engine. I have created levels that scream in Quake2, but bring HL to its knees(even untextured). Now, I belive if someone was crazy enough, they could mod PocketQuake enough to make a game similar, but like I said, you would definatly have to be crazy enough.
