I have a MIPS E-125 device but from the screenshots I got a few impressions about the new additions.

1) The MLOOK feature. Why not just make the MLOOK touchscreen area the playing field? To make it easier to shoot you could double tap the screen. If you held the second tap it would continually fire. That would be a nice way of MLOOKing

2) The HUD. I like DoomCE's HUD slightly better. The entire keyboard should be there, but they 1, 2, 3, and so on keys should have little pictures of the weapon, like the weapon buttons on the current PocketQuake HUD. The cheat codes should have to inputted like they were on the PC, I don't want to be lured by an easy access god mode.

3) The playing field should be slightly larger, if possible. If the game runs SMOOTHLY (mean >32 FPS) then make it larger. ~20 FPS would be nice with a large screen.

4) Buttons on the actual device. I'd think (atleast on my E-125) that Menu should be shoot, Contacts should be Open/use, and Calendar should be strafe/free look (if you press left or right it will strafe, if you press up or down it will look up or down when you are holding the calendar button). The rolly action trigger should change weapons also, and when pressed inwards it should ... err.. do something like Use Item maybe. the Start Menu button should access the Menu and Record should save the game (sounds simple).

I'd be glad to help you test out a MIPS version, as I have nothing important on my device if it crashes it. email me:
