Getting it to work on an EM-500

Getting it to work on an EM-500

Postby Rob Chamings » Jul 15, 2001 @ 9:18am

I have an EM-500 with about 9 - 10 megs free in RAM, and i have all of PQ on a storage card, using the compressed full WAD.  I can get intop that first little map where you choose easy, normal or hard difficulty, but it normally crashes as soon as i try to move forward.  How can i make it work so i can play PQ?<br>Rob

Sounds like you don't have enough RAM allocated to "Program Memory." In the Memory option in the settings you can change this. It's best if you have around 12 megs free in Program Memory.
