slow running of quake

all installed, but it is painfully slow.  the pak0 file is insatalled as a gz file.   any hints to make the game actually playable?  Also, how do you configure controls for the ppc

from now on if its pretty much the same topic post it in one of the other ten threads you made.<br><br>you're using a jornada right? thats about as good as it gets. or you can try using the small pak file at it should be there, at the bottom on the right.

Speaking of performance, what are the expected frame rates for the various Pocket PC devices?  I assume it would vary depending on the content, but say with the demo level, what should you see on each of the popular devices?<br><br>

when i've got some time (unless someone else could do it) i'm going to take a few video clips or maybe just gifs or something so people can see what it *should* look like on the various devices...
