I have got to say this, I have just d/led pocketquake and pocketwolf. And i agree the port is v good, but even better i think is the configuration of the keys. I play games often on me ipaq and after playin doomce i thought that fps can never be ported to pocketpc's coz of the keyconfiguration, but the configuration in pocketquake and pocketwolf is just amazing, I can straf circle and fire i can move like greased lightning. DAN CONGRATS ON GETTING THE BEST KEYCONFIG i have come across, ANY developers reading this, learn from this MAN. Games are no good without GOOD, I repeat GOOD controls.

Thank you! It is so nice to hear someone appreciate that type of control config. Most noobs want to use their D-Pad only and play like it were a game-boy. I actually do a substantial amount of FPS play (usually Team Fortress Classic), so I set PQ and even PWolf up the same basic way (mouse for mlook, keyboard for movement). PQ2 uses the exact same control scheme as well (of course :) ).

Dan East

You could with the iPaq. It works equally well either way. You could also rotate the display landscape-left and operate the D-Pad with your right hand.

Dan East

You can change the button assignments any way you like. Edit the autoexec.cfg file and map the buttons to the desired commands. You should be able to use Quake's control panel to do that as well.

Rob, you could run it in landscape then reduce the game screen size.

Dan East
