Make sure you downloaded the iPaq H3800 specific exe file. The iPaq H3800 has a display blitting problem which causes the said problem. Once you download the correct file for your device then the game should display properly.

I had exactly the same problem with my iPAQ3850 Thanks for the reply I will make sure I use the correct version
