installing pq2 without activesync?

Would this be possible and just manually copy over the files with a CF/SD card reader?

Yes, just copy the .CAB file over after running the EXE file and having it extract these files to the temporary directory and then tap on the CAB file to install the files.

the d/l file for pq2 is an .exe on dan's site. When I execute this file, it goes straight to the transfer screen of activesync getting ready to dump to the ppc. Or am I doing something wrong with the .exe?
