If you want gore, you gotta see Ichi the Killer. I believe some of Bill might have even been derived from this.

Basically, when watching Ichi, once you think you've seen it all, the next scene completely knocks you on your ass again.

oh yeah, the original kil lbil script (volumes 1 and 2) has been online ages, but now i've seen vol 1 i decided to read the first half of the script.

its SO much better than the film. pity they cut all that out though... even leaving it in wouldnt have made it any more gory than a standard jap film. i guess american censor boards are just pussies.
