I know you guys get lots of this, so I'm gonna post it in Anything just to separate it out. I haven't been keeping up on PPCs, and my brother suddenly expressed interest in one when I explained what it can do. So here's my question:

He needs a PPC for keeping up a calendar, tasks, small notes, possibly voice recording, and maybe a few really simple games. Small size is a plus. What PPC would be best for him?

Additionally, he wants wireless internet -- how much will that card and service run him? How good is the coverage? He'll be living in DC so I'm sure it's no worries there, but how about the rest of the nation?

Finally, he is interested in getting a memory card to make his PPC into an mp3 player. What's the best size to get (he's not a 10gb iPod kind of guy...) and how much will that cost? How about for movies?

He's basically just looking for a total price to see if it's viable.
The fates lead him who will;
Him who won't, they drag.

Probably the 1900. Wireless internet, probably not on any PPC without paying a buttload. You can pair it up with a cellphone though.

Well, I would tell him to get the 1935 or the 4155. The 4155 has WiFi but the 1935 does not. (<-- Could be wrong on that but I'm pretty sure.) The 4155 is small sleek and fast. I would tell him to get either a 512mb SD card for around.... $100 or a gig card running at around $175.

Damn, ever since I left PDAbuzz and Brighthand, the last PDA I have a clue about is the A620 and HP 2200 series.
This is the real Alex.

Maybe a Dell x3 or an asus a716?
Organic Superlube? Oh, it's great stuff, great stuff. You really have to keep an eye on it, though--it'll try and slide away from you the first chance it gets.
