I have noticed that in many other threads here at PM, people have been having religious debates. Please post your religious stuff here.
Below is a helpfull guide of religious terms and my two-cents about my beliefs.

Pure meanings

Theism: 1 Belief in, or in the existence of, God, a god, or gods.

Monotheism: 1 The doctrine or belief that there is but one God (Mono(one) + Theos(Greek for god))

Pantheism: 1 The doctrine that the whole universe is God, or that every
part of the universe is a manifestation of God. (Pan (Greek for all) + Theos(God))

Deism: 1 Belief in the existence of a personal God, based solely on the
testimony of reason and rejecting supernatural revelation; natural religion. (Deus (Latin for a god) + ism)

Polytheism: 1 The belief in and worship of more gods than one. (Polys(Greek for many) + Theos(god))

Atheism: 1 The belief that there is no God. (A(without) + Theos(god))

Other Meanings

Theism: 2 Belief in a personal God as creator and supreme ruler of the
universe, who transcends his creation but works in and through it in
revealing himself to men. 3 Belief in one God, monotheism.

Atheism: 2 Godlessness in life or conduct.

Pantheism: 2 Worship of all the gods of various cults, etc., as in the
Roman Empire.

Deism: 2 Belief that God created the world and set it in motion, subject
to natural laws, but takes no interest in it.

I myself, as I have posted in other threads, am an atheist. What I mean by atheist is that I believe there is no God, god, or gods.
Many interpret atheism as meaning Godlessness in life and conduct in a bad way.
In otherwords they think that because you don't believe in a supreme or many supreme powers, that you are moralless and evil. This is not
true. I (and any other atheist that adheres to the Pure meaning of the word) simply don't believe in God/s. Morals and the concept of
God/s are 2 totally different subjects. If you have ever studied Philosophy then you already know this. To sum up my argument, here is the dictionary's first defination (and in good's case 3) of morals, right, and good.

moral: 1 Of or related to conduct or character from the point of view
of right and wrong; concerned with the goodness and badness of an action,
character, disposition, etc.,

right: 1 Done in accordance with or conformable to moral law or to some
standard of rightness; equitable; just; righteous.

good: 1 Moraly excellent; virtuous; righteous. 2 Honorable; worthy. 3 Generous; loving; kind.

May you find peace and love in whatever path you walk. -TechMage
