Come on! That's like the US not doing anything about the WTC attack! Do you think any of the Taliban prisoners in Cuba have gone through due process? No! If Israel had to bring every suspect to court, that would take forever, and nothing would be done. Whenever Israel assassinates a Palestinian official, it's because that official had been in a terrorist plot! Israel never retaliates until they know exactly who did it, and that usually takes one day, sometimes less because people confess to it.

Arafat is the leader of the Palestinians, I believe he's as much a terrorist and activist as Hamas (Palestinian terrorist group). He says "I'll crack down on terrorism!" But he doesn't do anything, even when he's free from house arrest. And look at the parading Palestinian activists that hold pictures of him like he's a dictator, he doesn't seem to peaceful then...

No, you have to remember that the terrorist faction of the Palestinians is a small minority. The majority of the Palestinians want peace, just like the Israelis, but it's the small group that ruins it. If Arafat really wanted peace, then he'd publically denounce terrorism oftenly. He should just tell his people to stop the violence, and say "Allah does not want you to be violent, but to have peace", then I think they'd stop...maybe

And AnaNg is completely right, the terrorist harbor in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, which are part of the Palestinian Authority, but they still are under limited self-rule by Israel. They are not separate countries, it's just all weird and confusing.
