You make me laugh. You think those are liked because people think they are supposed to like them, but Spiderman is not? Half the reason someone would even go see Spiderman is because they think they should. You think Saving Pvt. Ryan is crap but Spiderman (which you have not even sen yet) is great? You need your head examined. With a statement like that, its not even worth my time debating this with you anymore, cause it shows you just are just totally blinded by the fact its a Spiderman movie. Just because its based on a popular comic or character does not mean its a great movie. Thats what thinking you should like a film is. All those other movies were original. Spiderman better than Saving Pvt. Ryan..your funny. Also Batman two was awesome. Instead of doing what Sam Rami did and following the dumb comic exactly, Burton brought new cool stuff to it. Walken was great as mayor shrek, and devito played a great penguin. It was whimsical and cool. And instead of copying a story that was already succsessful on its own exactly, and relying on that to make money, he instead chose to create something new, and depict it as it had not been done before. Yeah Sam Rami is great...at being a copy machine. There is a saying, Hollywood has one type writer and a thousand copy machines.
