Yup, I agree with Randall. ESB was the best.

You young punks! I went to the StarWars opening - right after my high school graduation ceremony.

I saw the premiere of "2001: A Space Odyssey" with my dad, and I also remember going to see the original "Planet of the Apes" for a friend's birthday. Beat that one, kids! (and keep off my lawn!)

Hands down. ESB is the best. Agreed.

we're all the epitomy of geeks, but randall you didnt mention harrison ford doing a badass job playing han solo, you suck.

Mark Hamill still sucks, I remember going through the movie with a bunch of other geek friends of mine and redoing the entire movie by digitally editing out mark from episode IV. That was some funny shit. The movie was still good, and much better imo.

I'm also a fan of SW and I like all the films, but my (current) favourite is EP1, because the other 3 films are getting a bit old(looking), and EP1 was great IMO.
(I don't even hate JarJar ;) )
EP2 will be interesting to see after I read the unofficial "script" and it'll be fun to see good old Yoda fighting.

yeah, I Harrison Ford did do a pretty good job as Han Solo. His character was one that actually got more interesting as the trilogy unfolded.

Solo was the best character, and the best actor too (IMO). Somebody that I think that was under developed was Boba Fett. He could have been really badass, and one thing that got me disapointed with Ep7 (TRTJ) was that he didn't show much (died[?] right in the begining). I was certain that he would grow after ESB.

Bobba Fett fucking rocked, and then they killed him off like some second-hand trinket. I was very disapointed, I think that was sadder than when Darth croaked.

yeah, yeah...he's trapped in the salack pit where he will be slowly digested over a thousand years...

what are you going to say, he escaped?

And one more thing, if he hadn't screamed like a girl when he fell in, I wouldn't have been nearly as disapointed.

yeah, he climbed out of the pit - having been digested a little, he lost his helmet (for the first time ever) and was found by some jawas i think.

they nursed him back to health and he went after solo and chewbacca, cornered them in a cave or something and chewie ripped off his helmet, ignited his jetpack and sent him flying into the ceiling.

i think he went after han again when he was on his honeymoon with leia but after failing that he gave up...
