I think cancer is a disease that has affected all of us in some way (myself, I've had a grandfather die of brain cancer, and my mom and grandmother have had breast cancer - though it was caught early enough that they could remove it before it did a lot of harm). I'd also encourage anyone who can to find ways to help fight this disease. An example is , an organization set up by lead singer of Sister Hazel, Ken Block, in memory of his fourteen year old brother who was lost to cancer. The organization has and silent auctions to raise money for the fight against cancer every year, and has had an overwhelming response from the music community.
